I have been toying with the idea of starting a blog to document my progress as a new violinist since I commenced violin lessons in October last year. However due to a string of events which occured in the past few months, I have been putting off this decision.
However, since today marks the day that I've officially progressed from Beginner Grade to Grade 1, I decided that this is a good reason to begin this blog - both to mark this milestone, but more importantly, to share my journey with any fledgling violinists out there. There is also a loftier reason, which is to promote music appreciation, especially appreciation of classical music.
In subsequent posts, I will be sharing more violin-related articles, but till then, sit back and enjoy!
